Digital Marketing Guru – Pedestrian TV

  • $55k – $65k plus super, depending on experience

We are seeking the ultimate slashie, aka: an experienced content creator/digital marketer with a proven ability to think strategically in a fast paced, fluid space. You will be the calm amongst the storm, unflappable at all times. Lisa is supercharged and moves quickly, to elevate her brands you need to remain one step ahead of the digital game and bring some magic! We are looking for a proactive leader who anticipates potential issues and presents solutions. To nail this brief, you will have excellent project management skills, be an experienced creative graphic designer with impeccable attention to detail, and have a solid grasp on data, reporting, systems and processes.

This role is not for the faint hearted, responsible for developing and implementing a content strategy across an impressive portfolio of digital assets; you will need the energy, drive and determination to deliver each and every time. Working alongside our e-commerce Director you will ensure a brilliant and successful flow between owned and paid media. You will be confident and well-connected, and happy to work autonomously (primarily working from home) within a strong team, including contractors who work with us on a project by project basis (photographers, videographers, stylists, writers, digital specialists, etc).  Your key focus will be to create content across multiple channels to fulfil Lisa’s mission and that of Collective Hub, to support entrepreneurs and start-ups. The sky’s the limit and anything is possible!

You Love:

  • Creating digital marketing strategies to inspire, ignite, acquire, retain and engage a community
  • Copy writing, photography, videography and editing of both video and audio files
  • Determining appropriate channels to reach target audiences
  • Thinking laterally and slicing and dicing exciting content across multiple formats
  • Search, SEO, content development, email and EDM (Campaign Monitor and Klavio), Social media, Youtube and video formats
  • Measuring, analyzing and optimizing campaign performance using google analytics and other
  • A hunger for the start-up scene and a dedication to continued growth and development

Key Accountabilities:

  • Social Media: source imagery, design and create graphics in photoshop, schedule posts, write captions, add tags, monitor and respond to DMs. Maintain all Collective Hub and some Lisa Messenger social handles
  • Promote & market book, merch and digital products range: create and execute a marketing plan to grow sales of LM and CH books, merch, mags, digital masterclasses and podcasts across social media. Must be proficient or at least have an understanding of Teachable and Kjabi as well as third party affiliate channels. Shoot flat lay imagery as new products arrive
  • EDM’s: Create a weekly mini mag and occasionally create bespoke promotional editions. Create colour scheme, create titles in photoshop, write copy, work with LM on editors’ letter, upload links and imagery, send and monitor
  • Hear me RAW podcast: Create cover artwork for each podcast.  Shoot and edit video content for each weekly launch (and/or work with external videographer). Ideally have the ability to edit some audio and upload to iTunes and Spotify (and/or work with our existing editor)
  • Blog & VLOG strategy: build out an industry best blog/VLOG strategy to continue to expand the Lisa Messenger/Collective Hub community
  • Website Management: manage and publish to the and websites content & online channels to grow traffic and boost online sales
  • Marketing Materials: Effectively manage the development of media kits, speaker showreels and other marketing materials   
  • Client Media Campaign Management: Occasional upload & implementation of media campaigns for new advertising clients according to briefs and budgets. Report on client campaigns including analytics, insights
  • Other projects in development: as required

The Offer:

This superstar will report directly to Lisa Messenger, an international speaker, best-selling author, and an authority on disruption in both the corporate sector and the start-up scene. This role provides the freedom of working from home, with the successful candidate based in Sydney in order to attend shoots and be onsite when required. We are open to commencing this role on a full-time basis, or part-time with a view to increase to full-time. A competitive salary is on offer with an immediate start available for the successful Digital Marketing Guru.
